Denise Archilla, MSW, is a former Pediatric Clinical Social Worker, Chronic Illness Coach, Fellow Warrior, and Mom of 2 Young Adult Warriors. She founded the Chronic Warrior Society in 2015 and launched Chronic Warrior Coaching in 2021. She has been an advocate for youth throughout her career. She is particularly passionate about coaching teen and young adult warriors and helping them build confidence, find and use their voice, and find that next best step as they navigate life with chronic illness or rare disease.

Chronic Warrior Coaching has been helping me through the years. When I first got diagnosed Denise gave me so many tips on how to live with chronic illness. Recently I went through a difficult time with my health and we’re working on mindset and anxiety that comes with it.

- Kirsten B.

This coaching has allowed me to talk to someone who really gets me and what I am going through on a daily basis. I can talk about anything with Denise - from bad roommates to chronic pain, and she can guide me through how to handle these things. The coaching gives me an outlet to express myself and understand who I am better.

- Kayla A.

My family is supportive, but they don’t fully understand what it’s like to be a chronically ill teenager, which makes sense! Coaching has given me a space to talk openly about my concerns and has allowed me to have a place where I feel supported, heard, and validated.
